Pop music has developed in the middle of the 1950s. This genre was an alternative to rock 'n' roll and to rock music as well. Pop music was mainly oriented to a youth market and focused on a commercial recording. Form the early beginning, pop was focused on short love songs with the simple content. These basic elements have remained till these times. Pop music utilized influences from other music genres, mainly from rock music.
Pop music always uses new technological innovations to create new themes and new modifications.
