The oeuvre of After Crying - turning 23 this year - stands unparalleled in Hungarian music palette, and is also rare in international comparison. The aim of this creative community has ever been to compose contemporary, up-to-date classical music that is possible to understand for many people – since it uses elements of today’s everyday musical idiom; and at the same time is able to convey deep meaning at a high artistic level, dealing with serious issues of our time.
