Altspeak, hailing from Seattle, could be called an indie rock band - but that definition is probably too broad to define the band’s combination of britpop, shoegaze and classic songwriting. Formed by Iggy Faus and joined by indie veterans Matt Brown (Trespassers William), Coulter Leslie (Coulter), William Hallauer and Erik Blood (The Turn-Ons), the band’s jangle-y rock is upbeat, textured, and unpretentious.
