Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel is an Italian pop-jazz group from Caserta, formed in 1980. After a rock music debut letting them win the grand prix at "Festival di Sanremo" in 1987, the group publishes in 1992 the "Belloscguardo" album, that signs their personal artistic change to a new type of music, the main feature of the group. In 1999, Avion Travel participated in the “Festival di Sanremo”, “Big” section, with “Dormi e sogna” (sleep and dream), that let them win the Critics and Quality Panel (Michal Nyman, English composer, as chairman) Award as “Best Music” and “Best Arrangement”.
