An extremely girly voice can sometimes mask her ability to swing and her ability to choose exceptional songs. Her arrangements are also recognizeable for leaving lots of space for the singer, which is a rare thing. She didn't take her self too seriously and had the ability to be quite moving with her more melancholic material. She is comparable to Chet Baker.
