Boiler Room's history is short but sweet. Formed in New York in 1996 by friends Chris Lino, James Meselsohn, Mike Meselsohn, and Rob Caggiano, the band would play live settings for several years before finally opening for Orgy on tour in 1999. Their debut and so far only album, Can't Breathe, was delayed for some time before finally dropping in November of 2000. The album didn't gain a lot of attention, despite some industry and media attention, and the band broke up in 2001.
