I Hate Kate is an alternative rock band from Huntington Beach, California. The band was founded in November, 2004 by former Zebrahead guitarist and vocalist Justin Mauriello. The band consists of vocalist Justin Mauriello, bassist Scott Hayden, guitarist Jeremy Berghorst. "Justin Mauriello started I Hate Kate in 2004, while still in Zebrahead, as a creative outlet for material that he felt he wasn't able to display in Zebrahead.
